They are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Development Engineer to support, develop, and maintain their Salesforce platform, collaborating with IT teams to enhance sales operations and ensure platform stability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, and declarative tools to meet business requirements
- Support Salesforce functionality across direct and indirect sales channels, including partner and reseller platforms
- Assist in Salesforce org consolidation, data validation, migrations, and cleanup of legacy functionalities to ensure a streamlined platform
- Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting issues related to Apex, Flows, permissions, integrations, and performance to maintain platform stability
- Develop and support integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Apex REST services
- Collaborate on IT-led initiatives involving Salesforce development, reporting, and data analysis to optimize platform capabilities
- Participate in testing, deployment, and post-release validation processes to ensure quality and functionality
- Write clean, maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and adhere to Salesforce security and data governance standards
- Stay informed about Salesforce releases, best practices, and industry trends, recommending incremental improvements for platform enhancement
- Ensure timely delivery of Salesforce enhancements and bug fixes, reducing production issues and improving incident response times
- Contribute effectively to platform modernization and consolidation initiatives, working collaboratively with senior engineers and stakeholders
- Enhance Salesforce reliability, performance, and maintainability through continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Software, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in Salesforce development or solutions engineering
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flow
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and governor limits
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to support Salesforce in a production environment effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
- Master's degree
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Salesforce Administrator, or App Builder
- Familiarity with Salesforce integrations, APIs, DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git workflows), and agile methodologies
- Exposure to Experience Cloud, Omni-Channel, Email-to-Case, or Einstein features
