The Cervantes Group is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst to serve as a liaison between customers, users, and software development teams. The role involves gathering business requirements, facilitating collaboration across departments, and ensuring the smooth integration of systems related to cash management and treasury products.
Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements to support integration of systems, anticipate & prepare for potential downstream impacts related to technical aspects associated with product and related cash management/treasury products and services
- Work with clients, business units and end users to obtain requirements through interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, workflow analysis and use cases
- Evaluate the information from those multiple sources to develop an understanding of the clients business requests and needs and translates them into application and operational requirements
- Meet with executives to gather requirements, understand business and technical objectives and create project plans, diagrams and roadmaps for scalable SW solution development
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, such as Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, QA and key Development teams, to strengthen and elevate the platform from a technology perspective
- Provide clear status reporting and escalating any risks to portfolio and senior management as required in addition to supporting operational readiness and smooth handover to production and support teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 6 years' business analysis within PMO and SW development environments
- 5+ years' experience generating technical documentation for project deliveries
- Previous experience with cash management/payments and treasury products and services
- Must have technical background in platform and software development
- Proven success working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- PMP, Scrum Master (CSM) and/or SAFe certifications are highly desirable
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (written, verbal)
