Senior Electrical Engineer – Substation Physical Design (Remote Option)

Aimic Inc is a company focused on engineering solutions, and they are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in substation physical design. The role involves applying strong knowledge of high-voltage equipment layouts and leading projects while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an active PE license
• 8+ years of experience in substation physical design for utilities, EPCs, or consulting firms
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and familiarity with Bentley Substation or other substation design tools
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage equipment layouts, grounding systems, and bus design
• Working understanding of relay coordination, control schemes, SCADA, and substation automation principles
• Excellent communication, project leadership, and mentoring skills with a strong eye for detail and quality
• A genuine passion for innovation and helping shape the next generation of substation engineers
