Prominent is looking for a qualified UX/UI Designer with technical Project Management experience to partner with their Solutions team in providing tailored solutions to customers. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring user experience, interface design, and usability are prioritized alongside technical feasibility and project timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
- Act as the primary advocate for user experience throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all products meet established usability standards
- Act as a liaison between creative design teams (UX/UI Designers) and engineering teams (Developers), translating user-centered designs into functional requirements
- Produce or oversee the creation of workflow diagrams, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for desktop and mobile applications
- Lead user research and usability testing sessions with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs
- Coordinate with developers to ensure the technical implementation aligns with the visual design (CSS, HTML, JavaScript)
- Maintain and update design libraries, design patterns, and UI guidelines to ensure consistency across the product portfolio
- Identify potential design or usability bottlenecks early and work with the team to find solutions that do not derail project schedules
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience as a technical project manager, with a proven track record in software development and UX/UI design
- Strong proficiency in managing project plans, resources, budgets, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Wireframe.cc)
- Solid understanding of front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex user experience concepts to non-technical stakeholders including external customers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Information Systems, or a related field
- PMP or Scrum Master certification
- Experience with Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to drive data-informed design changes
- Background in accessibility (ADA/WCAG) standards
