Digital Media Solutions is a performance-driven digital marketing company that connects consumers and brands through data, technology, and proprietary media platforms. The Senior Platform Product Manager will identify operational workflows worth automating, build the roadmap to improve them, and drive implementation across teams, ultimately enhancing performance across the marketing marketplace.
Responsibilities:
- Own the roadmap for automation and operational system improvements across the business
- Build and maintain a prioritized backlog of workflows based on business impact, frequency, and implementation effort
- Identify opportunities to automate decisions and processes that currently rely on manual analysis or operational monitoring
- Ensure roadmap priorities reflect real business impact and measurable operational improvements
- Partner closely with operations teams and business owners to understand how work actually gets done
- Identify manual workflows, slow feedback loops, and operational bottlenecks that could be improved through automation or better systems
- Translate operational insights into product requirements, automation workflows, and AI-enabled decision systems
- Work with engineering to design and deliver automation capabilities that integrate with existing systems and data pipelines
- Measure the effectiveness of delivered solutions by tracking reductions in manual effort and improvements in performance
- When improvements require new data capabilities or APIs, define requirements and partner with the appropriate teams to ensure delivery
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience in performance marketing, lead generation, digital advertising, or marketplace environments
- Experience identifying opportunities to automate operational processes or improve internal systems
- Strong understanding of data-driven decision making and performance metrics
- Experience working in high-volume, performance-driven business environments
- Ability to collaborate with engineers on data pipelines, automation systems, and product requirements
- Experience creating workflow maps or operational process diagrams
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to quantify operational inefficiencies and business impact
- Familiarity with scripting languages or automation tools
- Understanding of how AI tools can support automation and operational decision systems
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to build trust with operations teams and business leaders
- Proven ability to drive initiatives forward across teams and resolve blockers
- Comfort operating in environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Experience working in performance marketing, digital advertising, or lead generation businesses
- Experience with advertising marketplaces, demand management systems, or advertiser-facing SaaS platforms
- Background at DSP platforms, adtech companies, or high-scale digital marketplaces
- Experience improving pricing, bidding, demand allocation, or marketplace decision systems
- Experience working in insurance, financial services, or other high-volume lead generation verticals
