BITZER US Inc. is a global manufacturer of HVAC&R components used in commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The BITZER Sales Engineer/Business Development Associate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key accounts across North America, identifying business opportunities, and supporting technical sales efforts to drive growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key OEM accounts, supporting business development efforts
- Travel up to 60% across North America to engage with clients and pursue new opportunities
- Participate in industry trade shows and conferences to promote BITZER’s products and solutions
- Identify and analyze market trends, including competitor activities and regulatory changes, to enhance business strategies
- Provide technical support and solutions to customers, ensuring product knowledge and application expertise
- Develop detailed reports to track progress, customer engagement, and business development efforts
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in HVAC&R sales, technical sales, or business development, with a focus on OEM customers
- Extensive knowledge of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Experience supporting and managing OEMs, supermarkets, end users, and contractors
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present technical products to large audiences
- Ability to troubleshoot products and applications to support customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Adaptable and flexible to engage with a diverse, global customer base and regional sales managers
