The Packaging Engineering Analyst will work collaboratively with our engineering team to support damage reduction initiatives and to streamline packaging specification initiatives. 

What You'll Do...

• Maintenance of global standards and the GSPPS global spec system
• Support of the CDI Engineering team
• Help drive packaging spec delays for New Model parts
• Support carton rationalization initiatives
• The development and implementation of damage reduction initiatives
• Identification of ways to drive packaging efficiency at the packagers and implementation of new packaging materials and methods
• Identification of new opportunities for automation

• Pulling, analyzing, and reporting out on critical metrics.

• Work with Operations and Continuous Improvement teams at MPC to identify efficiencies.

 

You'll have...

• BA/BS Degree or higher required
• 2+ years of experience as a packaging engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Ability to display data-driven decision-making

    

Even better, you'll have...

• A packaging engineering degree is preferred
• Experience using Alteryx is highly preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, take ownership, and drive results
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills 
• Creative thinking - synthesize concepts into a cohesive and actionable strategy

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440., This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360., This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
