This position requires 100% on-site presence; no remote work will be allowed.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Connect with customers to answer questions about invoices and payment applications, providing friendly and professional support.
- Monitor and identify outstanding balances for credit card and ACH sweep payment processing.
- Keep things running smoothly by reconciling the accounts receivable subsystem daily.
- Process daily transaction data from our Cash & Carry store locations.
- Digitally organize and archive credit memos and other important A/R documentation.
- Stay on top of expiring reseller permits for Foodservice and C-Store customers.
- Review and verify A/R documentation submitted by Cash & Carry stores for accuracy and completeness.
- Help prepare and distribute customer account statements.
- Provide switchboard coverage when needed.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files, including correspondence and remittance details.
- Support team members by providing backup assistance across roles when needed.
- Jump in on special projects and other initiatives that support the Accounting team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- At least 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience, with a solid understanding of A/R processes.
- 2+ years working with Microsoft Excel and Word, using them confidently in a professional setting.
- Strong calculator and spreadsheet skills with great attention to detail.
- Experience using a 10-key by touch with accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teammates and assist customers professionally.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills—your spreadsheets impress people. Experience with Microsoft Access or similar databases is a bonus.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting fundamentals.
- Sharp analytical thinking and technical accounting skills that help you thrive in this role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to stay organized, even when juggling multiple tasks.
- Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to connect well with others.
- The flexibility to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- A natural problem-solver with a knack for analyzing information and finding solutions.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, etc.) is helpful, but not required.
- Demonstrated team orientation with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.

- An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. Salary range $19.50 - $23/hour DOE, plus so much more!
