Hiring Range: $26.03 - $33.49 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
(occasional after hours and weekends for community outreach events)

The Kwawachee Counseling Center at Puyallup Tribal Health Authority (PTHA) is seeking a Client Advocate III to provide high-level outreach, case management, and crisis support in a dynamic, culturally grounded environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting individuals and families facing mental health challenges, guiding clients through crisis situations, assisting with long-term care plans, and fostering education and awareness in the community.
What You’ll Do:
Your daily work as a Client Advocate III will directly support the health and wellness of our clients and families.
- Respond to urgent case management referrals and support clients in crisis.
- Assist clients with financial program applications and basic case management needs.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date client case files and program databases.
- Develop and implement psycho-education groups for clients of all ages.
- Coordinate with staff, community agencies, and hospitals to support client care.
- Provide outreach and educational programs to promote mental health awareness.
- Maintain group calendars, organize program spaces, and attend mandatory trainings.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Services field
- At least (2) years' experience in human services, working with mental health clients and families, including prevention interventions.
- Must obtain WA State Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration, Certified Advisor, or Certified Counselor certification upon hire.
- Proficiency in third-party billing and dosage calculations
