ABC Fitness is the leading technology provider for the fitness industry, and they are seeking to connect with talented Sales Development Representatives for future opportunities. The Inbound SDR will play a critical role in converting inbound interest into qualified sales opportunities by responding to leads and collaborating with various teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound leads within defined SLAs; ensure no qualified lead goes unworked
- Qualify prospects based on fit, use case, urgency, and intent to purchase
- Convert leads into sales-qualified opportunities (SQLs and SALs) with clean handoffs to AEs
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene with detailed notes and accurate dispositioning
- Partner with Marketing and Sales Ops to continuously improve MQL quality and conversion
- Meet or exceed monthly performance standards across SQL volume, conversion, and influence on closed-won revenue
- Ensure a rapid speed-to-lead (first contact within 15 minutes) and high dial activity (~125/day)
- Build trust with AEs by delivering high-quality opportunities and context
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in a sales, marketing, or customer-facing role (tech/SaaS preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage high volume with precision and quality
- Demonstrated coachability and growth mindset
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement platforms
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales
- Prior experience qualifying inbound leads or working in B2B SaaS
- Familiarity with pipeline metrics (SQL, SAL, MQL) and conversion funnels
- Exposure to marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo)
- Curiosity about sales strategy and buying behavior
- Experience in a remote or hybrid environment
- Passion for Health & Fitness
- Understanding of buyer journey and qualification frameworks (e.g., SPIN, BANT, MEDDPICC)
