Responsibilities:
- Building product features across the stack (Next.js, React, TypeScript)
- Designing APIs and backend systems with tRPC
- Building reliable background jobs and async workflows
- Working with queues, event processing, and distributed tasks
- Shipping fast iterations based on real customer feedback
- Processing large housing assignment runs without slowing down the system
- Designing event-driven flows for housing selection, room changes, and waitlists
- Handling bursts of traffic when selection windows open
- Building internal tools that help housing teams manage thousands of residents
Requirements:
- Strong React and modern TypeScript experience
- Comfortable working across frontend and backend
- Experience with Next.js or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with queues, background jobs, or event-driven systems
- Someone who already relies heavily on AI tools while coding
