Farm Journal is seeking a Solutions Marketing Manager who will bridge the gap between product, sales, and marketing. This role involves developing go-to-market strategies, creating sales collateral, and ensuring the sales team is equipped to effectively communicate solutions to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for positioning, messaging, and driving demand for solutions that address customer pain points
- Define and execute the GTM strategy for solutions, including target audience, messaging, and positioning
- Serve as SME for front-line sales and support team to ensure they are equipped to sell the solution
- Develop sales collateral, playbooks, and competitive battle cards to help sales teams effectively sell the solution
- Create training sessions and workshops to ensure sales teams understand the value of the solution and how to communicate it
- Conducted market research, analyzed industry trends, and gathered voice-of-the-customer (VoC) insights
- Act as a bridge between product, sales, and marketing teams, ensuring alignment on strategy and execution
- Collaborate with business, content and sales teams to influence roadmap decisions based on customer needs and market gaps
- Work with marketing and sales leaders to create demand generation and customer acquisition strategies to hit revenue targets
- Craft launch, rollout, and expansion strategies and plans to accelerate sales and market adoption
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3+ years in a solutions marketing environment
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Consistent performance in meeting deadlines, self-management, and prioritization of projects that align with corporate objectives
- Experience in ag markets and working with ag decision makers, brands, and vendors
- Experience working with digital and data products and services
