The sustainment team directly supports the customer every day by ensuring that they have the skills, data, equipment, and parts needed to fly their intended missions.
As a Sustainment Supply Support Specialist, your day to day duties will ensure our Lockheed Martin products are available and ready when the customer needs them, provide the best possible outcomes by using analytic driven solutions, and lower operating cost through dynamic data driven problem solving.
A Sustainment Supply Support Specialist will provide:
- World-class customer service - Daily actions, no matter how small or large, play a critical role to ensure our Nation’s security is ready for threats near or far.
- High level problem solving with real-world implications - Advanced tools and analytics will support you as you determine the best way to ensure supply support for LM products across the world. Your work will ensure that parts are located, deployed, and secured on the flight line when our customers need them.
In this role, you will collaborate across Aeronautics to provide high velocity supply to militaries across the world. Your knowledge of supply and logistics principles will help optimize aircraft maintenance planning and execution, leading to improved mission readiness and fleet availability.
Additional responsibilities include:
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide exceptional fleet support resolving supply and logistics support challenges.
- Implement innovative technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement to supply performance.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college including: Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Operations Engineering, Logistics, Information Systems, or Business.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to think critically in a high tempo customer-centered environment.
- Experience with data tools or programming languages such as SAP, Tableau, SQL, Python, etc.
- Experience with stakeholder/customer relationship management

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $49,700 - $87,515. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
