Solmax is a company focused on expanding its product offerings in North America. The Market Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maximizing new and existing Woven and Nonwoven businesses across various markets, while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and product knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed territory sales targets
- Conduct regular sales calls with owners, purchasing agents, and cut & sew manufacturers to promote Solmax products and secure project specifications
- Maintain accurate and current customer information in the CRM system
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and stakeholders
- Identify and qualify sales leads from a variety of sources including advertising inquiries, trade shows, and networking
- Make proactive outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries to convert opportunities into sales
- Effectively address customer objections and provide technical solutions in alignment with product capabilities
- Provide timely monthly forecasting, sales reports, and updates to management
- Collaborate and support the management of competitive bids by sharing market insights and feedback
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and company meetings as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ of experience in technical sales or selling products with performance specifications
- Familiarity with multi-tier sales channels and the construction bid process
- Valid Driver's License, willing to fly, and visit clients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered
- Experience in Woven and Nonwoven construction, infrastructure, or a related field is highly preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
