Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, writing, editorial, marketing, or related, as well as leading content strategy projects.
- Experience in UX-focused product writing and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects.
- Experience with AI prompt writing or model UX.
- Experience with localization and accessibility best practices.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience interacting with executive leadership.
- 5 years of writing, editorial, marketing, or UX writing experience in an agency setting.
- 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional technology organization.
- Experience developing information architecture for documentation sets or product suites, including localization and accessibility best practices.
- Knowledge of online technology and related products, including web and mobile UI and tools.
- Familiarity with user experience research principles and practices and how to use data to provide informed user insights.

The YouTube Ads Viewer Experiences Team designs the ad experiences you see on YouTube. Our goal is to build ads viewers love. In this role, you will be a proactive, resourceful content designer to help us shape a content goal for the next generation of YouTube ads. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Transform ambiguous product issues into clear User Experience solutions by creating high-quality content across all user touchpoints from concise microcopy to engaging surveys while establishing and owning product-specific guidelines.
- Articulate the reasoning behind design decisions to stakeholders and proactively seek feedback from peers and users, iteratively refining content to meet the standards of clarity and engagement.
- Advocate user needs by formulating content design hypotheses based on research readouts, solving problems in a way that harmoniously bridges user expectations with critical business objectives.
- Guide partners on content best practices and lead workshops to align YouTube priorities.
- Manage projects on their own, improve workflows, and coordinate global translations using the advertising community.
