A senior equity operations role responsible for owning and scaling a global equity program from the ground up. Core responsibilities include cap table management, validating vested and exercised options and warrants, implementing and optimizing Shareworks, and navigating multi-jurisdictional complexity including UK activity. The ideal candidate thinks beyond day-to-day administration — proactively futureproofing equity infrastructure for post-IPO realities and connecting Shareworks data to downstream accounting and financial impacts. Own and maintain the cap table, including resolving any existing variances and issuing share certificates as needed
Validate the number of options vested and exercised, and warrants vested, ensuring data integrity across all equity records
Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of Shareworks as the company's equity management platform
Ensure Shareworks source data is accurately connected to downstream accounting and financial reporting systems
Build and document equity operations processes and controls from the ground up
Manage equity activity across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, ensuring local compliance requirements are met
Partner closely with finance, legal, and accounting teams to support equity-related reporting and audits
Think proactively about post-IPO equity structures, including the transition of RSUs to single-trigger vesting, and ensure the program is set up to scale accordingly
Hire and develop a high-performing equity operations team over time
Experience in equity operations or stock plan administration, ideally at a high-growth technology company
Hands-on experience with Shareworks, with implementation experience a strong plus
Deep knowledge of equity instruments including stock options, RSUs, and warrants
Experience managing and cleaning up cap tables
Familiarity with UK equity regulations and multi-jurisdictional equity programs
Strong understanding of the downstream accounting and financial reporting impacts of equity transactions
Experience validating option vesting schedules and exercise activity
Ability to issue share certificates and manage related compliance processes
Proven ability to build processes and systems from the ground up with minimal oversight
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with complex, high-stakes data
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with finance, legal, accounting, and tax teams
CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation required
GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources) designation is a plus

The base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
