SAP Basis Consultant

This is a remote position.

KATBOTZ LLC is looking for an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to lead the administration, monitoring, and optimization of SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system performance, stability, and availability across SAP environments, while also supporting upgrades, migrations, and cloud integration initiatives.

• Manage and administer SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, PI/PO, GRC, Fiori, etc.) .
• Perform system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching .
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning solutions.
• Manage transport management system (TMS), client copies, system refreshes, and background jobs .
• Work closely with database, OS, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth SAP operations.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements .
• Implement and manage High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Backup strategies .
• Provide technical support during cutovers, go-lives, and project rollouts .
• Mentor junior Basis administrators and act as a subject matter expert in SAP Basis.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP Basis administration experience , with strong expertise in large enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA, HANA DB, and cloud-hosted SAP environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) .
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting .
• Proficiency in user administration, roles, authorizations, and security concepts .
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM, Monitoring, EWA) .
• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills

• SAP Basis or HANA Certification.
• Experience in SAP Cloud Platform (BTP) and hybrid environments.
• Exposure to large-scale global rollouts and multi-system landscapes.
