Talent Acquisition Manager – India to lead hiring across multiple functions and locations. This role will partner closely with business and HR leaders to deliver high-quality talent, build strong hiring pipelines, and scale recruitment capabilities in line with business growth
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Planning
- Translate business growth plans into India-specific hiring strategies aligned to short-term and long-term workforce plans.
- Drive location-based talent strategies (hub expansion, diversification, cost-talent optimization).
- Advise leadership on talent market dynamics, supply-demand risks, and competitive insights.
2. Hiring Delivery & Execution
- Own end-to-end recruitment delivery across functions (Engineering, IT, Product, Corporate, Shared Services, etc.).
- Ensure timely closure of roles while maintaining quality, diversity, and candidate experience.
- Drive improvements in time-to-fill, offer-to-join ratio, and hiring manager satisfaction.
3. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and/or TA leads across India.
- Set clear performance goals, productivity benchmarks, and capability development plans.
- Foster a high-performance, data-driven, and candidate-centric TA culture.
4. Stakeholder & Business Partnership
- Act as a strategic hiring advisor to Business Leaders, HRBPs, and Global TA partners.
- Manage senior stakeholder expectations through transparent communication and data-backed insights.
- Influence hiring decisions using market intelligence and talent feasibility assessments.
5. Employer Branding & Sourcing Excellence
- Strengthen employer branding across priority talent segments and locations.
- Build scalable sourcing strategies leveraging direct sourcing, referrals, campus, agencies, and early career pipelines.
- Partner with Marketing and HR to enhance talent attraction initiatives.
6. Process, Data & Governance
- Drive standardization and optimization of hiring processes, SLAs, and governance models.
- Track and report key hiring metrics (pipeline health, conversion ratios, recruiter productivity).
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and local labor regulations.
7. Vendor & Ecosystem Management
- Manage recruitment vendors and agencies to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and performance.
- Build external talent partnerships with universities, industry bodies, and niche talent communities.
QUALIFICATIONS and Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA / Postgraduate qualification preferred.
Experience
- 10–14 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with 5+ years in a people management role.
- Strong experience managing high-volume and niche hiring in India for large enterprises, GCCs, or fast-scaling organizations.
- Proven track record in strategic workforce planning, stakeholder management, and TA transformation.
