Full Stack Engineer

Topflight Apps is a company focused on crafting custom app solutions for startups and enterprise businesses. They are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to maintain existing systems, design new components, and collaborate with other developers to build flexible architecture for both front-end and back-end applications.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance existing React systems, including bug fixing and performance optimization
• Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements
• Install and configure server environments for React deployments
• Manage and update project dependencies, resolving any conflicts efficiently
• Collaborate with fellow JavaScript developers and software engineers to build well-structured, flexible front-end and back-end architecture, including supporting APIs

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience building production-level mobile apps. You've shipped apps and understand the entire development lifecycle
• Strong expertise in React Native for mobile development and Next.js for web applications
• Proficiency with Supabase, PostgreSQL, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experienced with AI-assisted development using tools like Cursor and Claude Code to maximize productivity
• An independent 'hacker' mindset with the ability to suggest and execute plans to significantly reduce development timelines. We value initiative and creative problem-solving
• The ability to independently overcome roadblocks and 'figure things out.' Resourcefulness and resilience are key
