Full Stack Engineer

FOUND is a health-tech company focused on modernizing the industry by reducing inefficiencies and improving access to critical services. They are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to lead product development, shape core features, and drive the team culture in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development of new features from concept through to launch
• Architect and design systems, implement best practices for deployment/CI/CD/testing, and contribute across the stack (backend, frontend, dev ops, data)
• Collaborate closely with founders and engineering leadership, owning projects end-to-end
• Push the team to move quickly while maintaining high-quality, impactful output

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-stack, product-focused engineering experience; comfortable shipping production-grade code quickly
• Excited to take ownership and drive product features end-to-end, especially on the backend
• Understands this isn't a 9–5 role—motivated by impact and opportunity
• You challenge assumptions, think in first principles, and like experimenting with new tech
• You build with the end-user in mind
• You're not just infrastructure-focused—you want to build features that directly shape the product experience
• Experience with Python, Django, React
• Exposure to LLMs (Anthropic, OpenAI) and building AI-powered features
• Background in health-tech or working with standards like FHIR/HL7, or integrating with EHR/EMR systems
• Familiarity with healthcare data and compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
