TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, seeking a Customer Service Representative to support a pilot program focused on recovering lost revenue and driving customer retention. This role involves renewing service agreements and managing customer communication to meet revenue targets while working remotely after initial training in Rochester, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Contact customers with expired service agreements, warranties, or software assurance to sell new agreements
- Explain service entitlements, pricing, and renewal options clearly and professionally
- Negotiate pricing and prepare quotes to support renewal decisions
- Manage all active renewal and warranty opportunities to meet assigned revenue targets
- Update CRM/service systems with renewal status and customer communication details
- Collaborate with Account Management Associates and Channel Relationship Managers
- Maintain organized email communication and manage renewal data using Microsoft Excel
- Continue learning product, software, and service offerings to support customer conversations
Requirements:
- Strong telephone presence with excellent verbal and written communication
- Customer service background with confidence in negotiating and explaining service options
- Ability to quickly learn and retain product knowledge (document scanners, software, support offerings)
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience working in CRM or service systems; Salesforce experience preferred
- Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple renewal opportunities
- Prior experience in sales support, telesales, customer service, or account coordination
- Familiarity with service agreements, warranties, or software assurance programs
