DROPZONE ROBOTICS is an advanced robotics and AI company focused on developing real-time perception systems for complex environments. They are seeking a Computer Vision & Perception Engineer to design and build systems that detect and track people, understand human interactions, and recognize objects in challenging conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement real-time computer vision pipelines for multi-person detection, tracking, pose estimation, and scene understanding
- Develop perception systems robust to low light, motion blur, camera motion, and partial occlusion
- Integrate and fuse data from multiple sensing modalities including RGB cameras, depth sensors, thermal cameras, and IMUs
- Optimize machine learning models for edge deployment on embedded GPU platforms with strict latency and power constraints
- Build production-grade ML workflows including dataset management, training pipelines, benchmarking, and evaluation tools
- Implement model optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, and TensorRT acceleration
- Collaborate on hardware–software integration and system-level testing
- Evaluate perception performance using real-world datasets and field testing
