Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Project Manager II to prioritize and manage complex projects across retail locations. The role involves collaborating with various internal and external partners to ensure project execution and compliance while tracking progress and managing budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize large volumes of projects across thousands of retail locations, many with tight deadlines and high complexity, with some guidance from leadership
- Partner closely with internal and external key partners regularly to align and drive impact and results efficiently and accurately while moving quickly
- Act as liaison between regional third-party labor agencies, fixture display companies, channel marketing managers, demo tech teams, field sales, visual merchandising, and the eyewear partner on any retail partner issues
- Manage third-party labor agencies to execute projects in brick-and-mortar retailers globally, ensuring deliverables are met
- Build highly detailed execution plans for various initiatives across multiple product lines
- Review instructions and execution for multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- Understand display fixture production and installation processes to prepare workback schedules and deliverables for cross-functional sharing internally and externally
- Understand various retailer third-party labor operations to drive best-in-class execution
- Track field execution, including progress and results, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders
- Analyze demo data, identify potential roadblocks, and work with external partners to ensure in-store demo compliance
- Process all invoices and collaborate with leadership to ensure all third-party labor projects stay within budget
Requirements:
- Professional experience in retail in-store merchandising on either the brand or vendor side
- Project management experience
- Third-party labor management experience
- Proven ability to understand unique operating conditions within each retailer and how they impact planning and execution across all product lines
- Experience sharing program/project updates across broad teams and organizations with transparency and clear, concise cross-functional communication
- Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to track and articulate complexities of fixture installations
- Experience managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors
- Experience partnering with external stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, including identifying root causes and gathering cross-functional members to find solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills; approachable and flexible
- Experience navigating various organizational environments with differing cultures and structures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Google G Suite and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with the eyewear retail partners and their guidelines/processes
- Experience planning large-scale executions and installations from concept through prototype and production stages
- Experience working in highly cross-functional settings
- Experience maintaining budgets and fiscal responsibility
- Experience in mobile carrier and/or specialty retail
- Experience with in-store tech demos or technology in a retail setting
