Demandbase is the only pipeline AI platform that empowers GTM teams to automate growth at scale. As the Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for transforming how Demandbase takes innovation to market, creating strategic narratives, and ensuring effective go-to-market strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Revolutionize Launch Governance: Move our launch strategy from "order taking" to "strategic narrative building." Implement a quantitative framework for scoring innovation, ensuring we have rigorous tiering that dictates investment levels—focusing our energy on big wins rather than diluting impact across too many small updates
- Establish "Dual Lane" Go-to-Market: Operationalize a dual-lane approach to GTM. Create a fast lane for engineering velocity (shipping features in real-time) and a strategic lane for narrative meaning (curating moments that drive market perception), ensuring they coexist without fragmenting the brand
- Architect the Narrative Arc: Operate at a high abstraction level to connect rapid product developments into a cohesive portfolio story. Ensure that individual AI advancements feed into a larger value proposition rather than existing as isolated features
- Deep Product Immersion: Act as a hands-on product expert. You will get deep into the platform to ensure that messaging and talk tracks are not just marketing fluff, but grounded in technical reality and tangible user value
- Lead Portfolio Positioning: Own the positioning and messaging for key segments of the Demandbase platform, ensuring we are translating complex AI capabilities into clear business value for B2B buyers
- Drive Sales Enablement & GTM Proof: Package customer stories, pilot metrics, and ROI narratives that prove time-to-value. Equip the field with high-impact assets (playbooks, battlecards, demo scenarios) that allow them to sell with confidence
- Mentor and Manage: Lead and mentor Product Marketing Managers, fostering a culture of high performance, strategic thinking, and deep cross-functional collaboration
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product marketing experience (B2B SaaS/technology), with specific experience managing or leading GTM teams
- Proven experience building or rebuilding launch processes. You understand the difference between shipping code and launching a product, and you know how to build the rigor required to do the latter successfully
- Hands-on experience marketing AI-first B2B solutions. You are comfortable translating technical concepts into buyer value and understand the unique velocity of AI development cycles
- You can take a complex set of features and weave them into a compelling story that resonates with C-level buyers and industry analysts
- You balance qualitative storytelling with quantitative analysis. You use data to inform segmentation, pricing, and tiering decisions
- Deeply collaborative and able to influence without authority across Product, Engineering, Sales, and CS. You can hold your own in technical discussions and executive briefings alike
