The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for assisting the Finance Department with Finance Planning and Analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support a monthly forecast process
- Work with Regional Leaders and Operating teams to set monthly targets for each region. Targets should include revenue, cash flow, customer counts and product counts.
- Support month end close process including engagement with accounting to detail actual variance to forecast and budget.
- Present financial results to leadership teams
- Work with Product Managers to develop product analysis in regards to revenue per product tier
- Create Churn analysis and predictive churn modeling via the establishment of tools that integrate with customer data such as trouble calls, credits extensions etc to predict probability of churn and establish methods to reduce churn such as credit extensions etc.
- Support the launch of new financial tools for advanced analytics.
- Create and manage a set of revenue assurance reports designed to identify process errors so they can be corrected in month
- Conduct market analysis to understand the revenue potential in different geographies to assign appropriate quotas for a verticals – with the application of 3rd party data (D&B for example).
- Utilize established targets to develop internal and external guidance for future performance
- Help to identify potential areas of standardization that would improve company cash flow
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- At least 5 years of experience in finance operations across multiple disciplines
- Bachelor’s Degree and relevant work experience preferred; Experience in the telecommunications/cable or Hospitality industry highly preferred
- Experience working in fast paced, deadline driven environments.
- Deep understanding of market and competitive dynamics
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Customer focused with a proven track record of success in achieving or exceeding growth and profitability goals
- Experience working closely with sales and operating teams to meet revenue targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong customer service, organizational and analytical and follow through skills
- Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics365)
