They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead North American processes for technical accounting and controls supporting treasury and stock compensation accounting, while partnering with various internal and external teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the North America & Corporate processes for technical accounting supporting treasury, financing, risk management, and stock compensation projects
- Partner closely with Treasury business partners to support the technical accounting and reporting for various financing strategies and financial instruments
- Partner closely with Executive Rewards business partners to support the US GAAP accounting and financial reporting related to stock compensation
- Contribute to the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close accounting and reporting processes including SEC filings and other external financial reporting
- Monitor and review results completed by outsourced partners and centers of excellence to ensure processes accurately meet Global Accounting Organization needs
- Partner with Global Accounting Organization teams to assess impacts of changing business activities to accounting process, reporting process and controls, and contribute to adequate solutions to meet business needs
- Drive process and governance excellence in our dynamic global accounting & controls environment
- Utilize SAP, OneStream, Workiva, Blackline and other technologies to appropriately and effectively complete job responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BS. in Accounting
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Detail-oriented, results-oriented, proactive
- Process and process improvement driven mindset
- Ability to work with and influence different stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Aptitude for broad US GAAP subject matter including codification related to financial instruments and stock-based compensation
- Technical accounting research and documentation experience
- Ability to work independently
- CPA or MBA
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
- Big Four public accounting firm experience
- SEC filing experience
- Working knowledge of SAP, OneStream, Workiva
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
