Support Young Minds as a Behavioral Health Paraprofessional in School-Based ServicesMake a difference where it matters most—right in schools. As a Behavioral Health Paraprofessional,
(Internal title: Pinocchio Associate) you’ll support elementary-aged students in a school-based setting through the Pinocchio Program, offering emotional and behavioral support to help young children thrive.
This is a part-time position (approx. 16 hours weekly) working 2 days a week at elementary schools within an assigned school district. Schedule will be based on the assigned school schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Screen and observe students (grades K–3) for program eligibility
- Meet weekly with each eligible child individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with families to develop individualized support plans
- Schedule and facilitate two parent conferences during the school year
- Coordinate with school staff and families to ensure appropriate services
- Link families to additional Compass Health programs and resources as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and meet productivity expectations
- Attend required team meetings, training, and supervision sessions
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• High School/GED required
Work Experience: • Professional or practical history working with children preferred
