Job Summary:
The Sales Technology Specialist supports the rollout, enhancement, and continuous improvement of Price’s sales technology ecosystem. This includes contributing to system configuration, user support, training, testing of releases, data quality, and business process alignment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, sales processes, data, and cross-functional collaboration—and wants to grow into a senior product, business analyst, or solution leader over time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support end-users of Price Select, Salesforce CRM, Website, and other sales technology tools by answering questions, assisting with issues, and helping resolve problems quickly.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Reps, Software Developers, QA, and Product Managers to understand needs and ensure tools support real business requirements.
• Assist with requirements gathering, documentation, user stories, and testing of new features and system releases.
• Help ensure data accuracy and standardized processes across quoting, pricing, configurations, CRM records, and sales workflows.
• Prepare training materials, release notes, product updates, and how-to documentation to ensure successful adoption of technology.
• Analyze user feedback, identify trends, and propose improvements to increase usability and efficiency.
• Contribute to change management and rollout plans for new features, updates, and integrations.
• Develop a solid understanding of Price sales processes, product selections, pricing structures, and rep network workflows.
• Assist in reporting and data analysis that supports decision-making for digital sales tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 1–3 years of experience in business systems, software support, data or sales operations, product support, or a related field (co-op experience considered).
• Strong communication skills, especially with non-technical users—clear, patient, and solution-oriented.
• Ability to analyze problems, document findings, and communicate solutions effectively.
• Familiarity with CRM or quoting systems (Salesforce experience is an asset).
• Comfortable working collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic understanding of data, process flow, or business systems.
• Shows initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with Salesforce, Quoting Selection software and UI Web Development.
• Exposure to ERP or configuration tools (IFS, Infor CPQ, SAP, etc.).
• Experience building training content or documentation.
• Experience in HVAC, manufacturing, or technical product industries.
• Intermediate Excel or data analysis skills.
• Interest in product management, business analysis, sales operations, or software implementation.
