We are currently seeking a Data Engineer Talend and SQL to join our team in HYDERABAD, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

Need to work for 5 Hrs over lap with US EST Hours

Talend ETL Development & Maintenance

• Develop new ETL jobs in Talend for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix Talend job failures—including scheduled job failures and Control‑M dependency issues (e.g., SQL backup/Control‑M interactions).
• Modify or enhance existing Talend jobs, including versioning, context updates, and deployment through enterprise change management processes. 
• Analyze and understand existing Talend job logic, joblets, context variables, and scheduling dependencies.

 

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL expertise (complex joins, aggregations, performance tuning, stored procedures).
• Hands‑on experience with Talend ETL Studio (job design, context variables, joblets).
• Experience debugging Talend job failures, logs, dependencies, and Control‑M interactions.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, relational databases, and ETL patterns.
• Ability to interpret, update, and refactor existing job logic (Talend + SQL).

 

Soft Skills

• Strong debugging mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate issues and resolutions clearly with cross‑functional teams.
• Ownership mentality, proactive problem solving, and accountability in production environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
