DevOps Engineer | Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a part-time hourly contract position. The role involves designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized applications, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance infrastructure performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to enhance infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring to support continuous integration and delivery
• Maintain clear system documentation and ensure adherence to DevOps operational best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related engineering roles
• Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and modern containerized infrastructure
• Proficiency with DevOps automation tools such as Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipeline management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
