Givelify is a fintech-for-good company that powers a trusted online and mobile giving app platform. They are seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to create and optimize strategic content that drives engagement and measurable outcomes for their giving community.
Responsibilities:
- Own the successful development and execution of content deliverables that support various marketing and business goals
- Create content that drives measurable outcomes, including traffic growth, engagement, and campaign performance
- Develop content that effectively communicates Givelify’s value proposition to customers and consistently reflects our brand voice and tone
- Optimize content for search and AI discovery, improving visibility, domain authority, and performance over time
- Apply Givelify’s core content frameworks to create clear, consistent, and high-impact content across channels
- Support campaigns and content strategies by executing high-impact, on-time content
- Report on and evaluate content performance using defined KPIs and basic analytics
- Write, edit, refresh, and optimize content across formats including blogs, emails, presentations, and campaign assets
- Conduct keyword research, SEO audits, and content updates to address gaps and opportunities
- Apply a customer-first mindset to content creation, ensuring messaging reflects the real needs, motivations, and challenges of Givelify’s giving community
- Load, manage, and optimize content in our CMS platforms
- Partner cross-functionally to lead stakeholder review sessions, gather input, and incorporate feedback to move work forward
- Manage content workflows, document processes, and proactively communicate progress to stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Creative team to scope and request design assets
- Interview internal and external experts, members of our giving community, and stakeholders to develop compelling stories
- Assist with content planning, campaign execution, and content performance reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or a related role
- Strong writing and editing background across persuasive, technical, and other content types
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and familiarity with tools like SEMrush or Moz
- Experience using analytics tools like GA4 and Google Search Console to evaluate content performance
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and/or Webflow, and marketing collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack
- Understanding of basic marketing principles and content strategy fundamentals
- Experience working cross-functionally and incorporating stakeholder feedback
