About this role
Voto Consulting LLC is seeking an Application Support Engineer to act as a software detective, providing dynamic service in identifying and solving issues within a business-critical document management platform. The role involves being a subject matter expert in ECM or DMS systems administration, collaborating with support teams, and ensuring system performance and integrity.
Responsibilities:
- As an Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for acting as a software detective, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of a business critical document management platform
- You are expected to be a subject matter expert in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Document Management Systems (DMS) systems administration\support, collaborating with upstream and downstream application support teams, monitoring for and resolving system issues, and end user Incident resolution
- Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement solutions to enhance system functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
- Document processes and solutions to create a knowledge base for future reference
- Automate and/or simplify repetitive processes and reducing system issues
- Administer and maintain Mobius repositories, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies
- Monitor and troubleshoot Mobius system performance, resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality
- On call support as needed
Requirements:
- Mobius
- Troubleshooting Skills
- Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Document Management Systems (DMS)
- 05+ years' experience supporting/administering Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Document Management Systems (DMS)
- 05+ years' experience with Oracle databases
- Proficiency in Rocket Software (formally ASG) Mobius
- Proficiency using Splunk and Dynatrace to detect application problems are research root cause
- Proficiency monitoring and troubleshooting Java microservices in OpenShift
- Mainframe experience, specifically supporting and administering Mobius zOS
