The Business Analyst will provide analytical solutions to guide management and operational decision-making, working on projects related to performance metrics, financial assessments, and strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Take owner, customer and transactional data to develop recommendations that assist business decisions pertaining to but not exclusive to owner/customer behavior and business performance pertaining to spend decisions
- Define which data will be needed to understand product and business performance, and to answer questions posed by stakeholders. Recommend courses of action based on the data gathered
- Works closely with the Business Intelligence Team to create meaningful and insightful reporting that tracks and measures performance across a variety of business units and drive actions, while identifying areas of opportunity to improve reporting efficiencies
- Responsible for collection, cleaning and processing of data to identify patterns and trends to answer business questions and improve decision making process
- Communicate findings and recommendations to all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with fellow team members as well as external teams in consumer finance, sales and marketing, finance, inventory/revenue management and others on projects and new business initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required in Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related field
- Strong analytical skills: ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data to provide strategic and actionable insights
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to combine technical expertise with business acumen and communication skill to design, develop and implement solutions to complex business problems
- Detailed oriented and able to multi-task and meet goals and timelines
- Proficient in coding specific programming languages and systems such as SQL, Snowflake or Python
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Education or work experience utilizing quantitative data analysis, statistics and data mining to solve problems
- 3 years' experience in analytical role, preferably supporting finance, sales, marketing, or similar areas
- Sufficient in one of the advanced visualization tools such as Power BI - preferred and Tableau, etc
