CompIntelligence, Inc. is currently assisting a client with staffing for a Business Analyst position. The Business Analyst is responsible for defining and validating business requirements for SaaS applications and ensuring successful implementation aligned with business needs. This role involves process modeling, reengineering, and facilitating change management to optimize workflows across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Write Personas, Epics, and User Stories focused on SaaS-enabled business capabilities and redesigned workflows
- Develop and execute test cases with full traceability to user stories, validating SaaS configurations, workflows, and integrations
- Summarize requirements for end users and stakeholders, including documentation of process changes, future-state workflows, and SaaS feature impacts
- Lead business process modeling and reengineering efforts, including mapping current-state and designing future-state workflows (BPMN, swimlanes, activity diagrams)
- Support organizational change management, helping stakeholders understand new workflows, system behaviors, and role impacts
- Develop SOPs, training materials, and job aids aligned to redesigned SaaS-supported processes
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to evaluate business needs, streamline workflows, and ensure readiness for SaaS adoption
- Performs duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years as a Business Analyst
- Experience with SaaS applications and cloud-based business solutions
- Fluency with Visio/Lucid/Miro/Mural for process modeling
- Agile experience: Writing Epics, Personas, and User Stories; defining acceptance criteria
- Ability to design business processes via activity diagrams
- Experience executing test cases tied to business and system requirements
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to lead workshops and influence without authority
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or related field
- Familiarity with change management frameworks
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Understanding of ITSM/Support workflows helpful but not required
- Experience collaborating with technical teams on workflows, sequence diagrams, or deployment planning
- Exposure to Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Ability to zoom from big picture to detailed process logic
- Creative problem solving and decision-making
- Teaching/coaching skills to support change adoption
- Ability to collaborate effectively in remote environments
- Certifications such as CBAP, PM-PBA, Lean Six Sigma, or PROSCI
