The Licensing Engineering Consultant 2 will engage in client interface and business development while executing project work related to the development of applications for permits and licenses for new reactor power plants and other facilities.
Responsibilities:
- This is a senior level engineering position that will provide you with opportunities for client interface and business development in addition to project work execution responsibilities
- You will be involved in development of applications for permits and license for new reactor power plants, medical isotope facilities and/or fuel cycle facilities
- The work could also involve coordinating the development of license amendment requests and 10 CFR 50.59 safety evaluations and the interpretation of NRC regulations and guidance
Requirements:
- BS or MS in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 10 or more years of experience in the nuclear power industry, including experience in license renewal
- Working knowledge of NRC regulations and guidance that apply to licensing and license renewal of nuclear power plants
- PE license is beneficial
