SmarTek21 is a growing IT Staffing and Managed Services provider helping organizations scale their technology teams and improve their IT operations. They are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support their sales and recruiting teams through proactive outreach, marketing initiatives, and meeting coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound cold calls to introduce our IT staffing, recruiting, and managed services solutions to potential clients
- Identify and qualify prospective companies that may benefit from technology staffing or managed IT services
- Generate and nurture leads to new business opportunities for the sales team
- Execute targeted email marketing campaigns to engage potential clients
- Track engagement, responses, and follow-up opportunities
- Assist with messaging and outreach strategies promoting our technology services and staffing capabilities
- Utilize LinkedIn and other social platforms to identify prospects and initiate outreach
- Build connections with IT leaders, hiring managers, and decision-makers
- Support social media marketing initiatives that drive inbound interest
- Schedule discovery calls and meetings for sales representatives
- Coordinate calendars and ensure meeting logistics are organized
- Provide sales reps with prospect summaries and background information prior to meetings
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities in the CRM
- Track lead activity, responses, and meeting outcomes
- Assist in maintaining the sales pipeline and reporting metrics
Requirements:
- 0–3 years of experience in sales, recruiting, marketing, customer service, or business development
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, and social media)
- Comfortable conducting cold outreach and initiating conversations
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Experience in IT staffing, recruiting, or technology services
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Experience using LinkedIn for prospecting or recruiting
- Exposure to email marketing tools or marketing automation platforms
