Python Automation Test Engineer 100% Remote

Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a Python Automation Test Engineer for a 100% remote position. The role involves coding in Python, working with CI/CD pipelines, and debugging robotics and mechanical engineering simulations.

Responsibilities:

• Must have experience with robotics/mechanical engineering debugging and analyzing test simulations to navigate what went wrong
• All candidates must be comfortable with daily operational work (triage, reporting, etc.)
• HM will pass on candidates with shorter job tenure (1 year or less) even if this is a successfully completed contract
• HM does not want to review candidates focused on CAN/HIL testing for OEMS (not an in-vehicle testing role)
• Coding experience: python. SQL, triage, CI/CD pipelines; coding assessment will be part of the interview process

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in systems engineering / software development
• Coding experience: python, SQL, triage, CI/CD pipelines
