Stockroom Clerk

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Duties

1. Receives Frames via mail, UPS, freight, and other internal groups.
2. Look up orders in DVI and receive frames against orders in process.
3. Tag or Label Frames with priority stickers and place in priority bins for tracing
4. Distribute special orders to Data Entry for pattern attachment or input data.
5. Add notes to orders for special instructions or modifications.
6. Review order information for special handling (Glass work, Redo’s)

Secondary Duties

1. Maintain the neatness of the workstation
2. Crosstrain in other areas of the department
3. Help in the lab when needed

 

PRODUCTION AND QUALITY GOALS

1. Produce 60 + jobs per hour with less than 1% errors.

Experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• The ability to communicate openly with others and work as a team. 
• Must be able to work overtime or flexible shifts when needed.
• Must be able to follow all company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to understand and implement work instructions.
• Must be able to understand basic job work tickets.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• The ability to do simple/basic math
• Work without supervision
• Able to memorize data accurately
• Problem-solving skills and basic computer skills: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Safety Requirements

• Closed-toe shoe required with heel support
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The noise level in the work environment may require P.P.E.
• Safety glasses and long-sleeve shirts may be required where needed.
