Profitability and Operations Project Manager
Purpose and Objective of Position:
Provide support and coordination of Corporate Strategic Initiative projects that help to improve and sustain profitability across the brand.
Accountabilities:
- Identify, test, and implement best practices in profitable operations chain-wide
- Identify, test, and implement operational efficiencies or products chain wide.
- Collaborate with our Process Improvement team to create, document, coach, and communicate profitability standard operating procedures and processes
- Participate and assist with the Profitability focus teams to support, drive, and sustain key profitability goals, metrics, and accountabilities
- Simplify, prune, and purge profitability processes and systems for PR Inc. and chain-wide
- Collaborate with Operations to support LEAN/ROI: test new operational concepts (Kitchen Display Systems; Automatic Pizza Saucer; Speed Oven) Coordinate test rollout and do on-site visits for quality/process control.
- Assist with other corporate and restaurant project duties as assigned
Field Trainer Accountabilities:
Field Training responsibilities will also be part of this role for up to 2 openings a year (as needed)
- Equip restaurant team members to fulfill Pizza Ranch Standards of Operations.
- Refine Management Team’s key management skills of operation, including coaching, feedback, delegation, scheduling, accounting functions, inventory and ordering procedures.
- Ensure timely coordination of restaurant opening timelines, pre-opening consultation with restaurant General Manager/Franchise Business Consultant and follow-up assessment.
- Conduct training programs at Local Restaurant/Regional Coop Meetings and/or annual Managers Meetings.
- Additional opening opportunities and duties may occur and be assigned depending on business needs
Qualifications, Skills, and/or Competencies:
- Minimum 4 years of restaurant management experience (multi-unit/high volume preferred) and/or franchise operations management experience.
- Proficient in knowledge and understanding of Profit and Loss Statements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management or related field or equivalent operations experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to collaborate in team environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10%
