Job Overview

Komatsu is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Salt Lake City team. This onsite role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, open to change, and enjoys working with vendors and internal partners to keep processes running smoothly.

Whether you’re an experienced AP professional or an early‑career accounting graduate looking to grow, this is a great opportunity to build long‑term accounting experience in a stable, collaborative environment.

In this role you'll be responsible for the day to day Accounts Payable processing and payment of invoices.  You'll also provide accounting support and information for managers, staff and employees in the areas of Accounts Payable.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures to ensure timely processing of vendor invoices
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
• Reconciling vendor statements and working with vendors to resolve disputes 
• Perform month-end account reconciliations in support of close process
• Support process improvements and system updates
• Handle occasionall rush payments

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
• 2-4 years of relevant experience, bookkeeping experience a plus
• Excellent attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and on detecting errors and potential fraud
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience with ERP systems such as CDK, SAP, S/4HANA, or IntelliDealer is a plus

Hiring Range 

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $NA. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
