As a Cloud Platform Operations Support Analyst L2, you will:
Execute L2 provisioning tasks for OCI resources (VCNs, subnets, gateways, compute) using approved patterns and templates.
Monitor OCI tenancy health, service limits, and alarms; remediate or escalate capacity constraints.
Apply standard security controls (network security lists, route rules, tags) and validate post-change outcomes.
Operate backup/DR configurations for OCI workloads; run periodic restore tests and maintain evidence.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues with on-premises and other cloud environments; document fixes.
Perform patching and scheduled maintenance on OCI resources under change governance; verify outcomes.
Integrate OCI telemetry (metrics, logs) with monitoring and ITSM; address gaps promptly.
Maintain accurate documentation of compartments, policies, and resource mappings; update CMDB entries.
Support migration waves into or out of OCI with build sheets, cutover checklists, and sanity checks.
Enforce tagging standards for ownership, cost, and security classification; correct any drift.
Support cost reviews by identifying idle or oversized resources and proposing right-sizing actions.
Validate IAM policies, dynamic groups, and access scopes for least-privilege adherence.
Participate in incident bridges, providing OCI topology, metrics, and change context.
Maintain runbooks and quick reference guides for common OCI tasks and issues.
Produce weekly service KPIs (availability, incidents, changes, cost deltas) for governance packs.
Operate and troubleshoot JDE/E1 tiers in OCI (WebLogic domains, managed servers, OHS/Load Balancer, AIS, BSSV); coordinate deployments and cache/index refreshes with application owners.
Validate database/network prerequisites for JDE/E1 (service gateway, private endpoints, JDBC, wallet configuration) and support failover drills.
Execute compartment/VCN guardrail checks (policies, quotas, route/NSL drift), remediate non-compliance, and escalate deviations to Cloud Governance.
Fundamentals of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, IAM)
Routing, DNS, and security lists; basic hybrid connectivity
Scripting/CLI literacy for checks, bulk updates, and tagging governance
Backup/DR concepts and restore validation
Monitoring/ITSM integration and operational documentation discipline
WebLogic operations (domains, JDBC, clusters, JVM basics) and JDE/E1 runtime components (AIS/BSSV/OHS)
Familiarity with OCI vault/keys, dynamic groups/policies, private endpoints/service gateways
Basic SQL and Oracle client/wallet configuration for application connectivity troubleshooting
