Provisions Group is seeking an IT Operations & Automation Engineer to transform their IT organization into an automation-first platform engineering environment. The role involves designing and building scalable systems that enhance internal productivity through automation and AI orchestration.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a “zero-touch” employee lifecycle, including automated onboarding, transitions, and offboarding across 50+ SaaS applications
- Develop automation using Python, Bash, and low-code tools such as Make.com
- Build self-service “Golden Path” workflows that allow departments like Sales, Marketing, and HR to request resources without manual IT intervention
- Automate workflows for systems without APIs using managed browser automation
- Implement Zero-Trust access models across internal systems
- Deploy Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies
- Identify and mitigate Shadow IT and unauthorized AI tools that create security or compliance risks
- Lead technical implementation of compliance automation platforms such as Vanta, Drata, or Thoropass
- Support and maintain frameworks such as SOC 2 Type II and GDPR
- Ensure internal AI usage does not expose proprietary data to external models
- Manage the company’s SaaS ecosystem using SaaS Management Platforms like Productiv or Torii
- Monitor usage and optimize license spend
- Maintain reliable integrations between SaaS applications and enterprise platforms such as ERP and CRM
- Deploy and manage internal AI agents and copilots
- Design vector databases and RAG pipelines that allow employees to query internal knowledge using natural language
- Evaluate emerging Agentic AI tools to improve productivity across the organization

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or the completion of a technical bootcamp with strong hands-on automation or platform engineering experience
