Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete Packaging Design and Packaging Deployment for Innovation/Growth projects and productivity projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct activities to generate appropriate packaging information, using sampling and supplier management, and pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In this role, you will plan and conduct process development activities (e.g. packaging design and specifications, packaging scale up, commissioning etc.) and help with planning and the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. You will also create technical reports, which will require your skills in analysis and interpretation of results that will lead to conclusions and recommendations; create and maintain accurate packaging specifications; and create intellectual property to drive our competitive advantage.

- Candidate should have Practical experience & Technical Knowledge with a all range of packaging materials (Flexible Paper & paper Boards & Corrugates, Rigid plastics) & its processes and manufacturing methods & application Technologies. Candidate should be able to apply technical material knowledge expertise to current projects to provide technical based pack design solutions to business.
- Lead & Drive all Futuristic technology led Packaging Innovations, Productivity & Sustainability Proof of concepts Developments with Detailed Technical led Design of Experiment approach on trials, transit, Consumer test validations for right choice of packaging materials, working with internal cross-functional teams, Global & regional Subject matter Experts & Business Unit teams ability to Properly plan up, coordinate and report each trials output, provide appropriate level of technical support and troubleshooting to execute Project objectives and ensure proper documentation of each activity thru detail technical reports & alignments across stake holders in business.
- Leverage and challenge packaging materials & machine suppliers to develop new innovative technologies, designs and cost-effective packaging formats and sustainable material solutions to achieve business goals/targets on Growth & productivity, Sustainability strategy pillar.
- Candidate should be able to demonstrate impactful Technical Leadership skills & should have ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization within cross functional teams & have Ability to influence others and drive results through working with a diverse team across region & geographies
- Communicate complex technical matters in a succinct and clear way to both technical and non-technical people in both written and verbal forms within all levels of cross functional teams
- Demonstrate In-depth understanding of program/project management Skills from Idea to Launch process of any kind of projects & should have ability to operate in a complex, Agile and diverse business environment.
- Ability to drive Executional excellence, technical leadership & problem-solving competencies to ensure business goals are achieved on time with desired quality output.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in science or any Engineering stream required with Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging Technology from Indian Institute of Packaging or SIES School of packaging or Equivalent specialization in Polymers /paper material science background is also preferable
Job specific requirements:
Min 2- 4 years of work experience in R&D -Packaging Development function from FMCG industry Or any Packaging materials making and convertors /Printing industry in R&D Packaging & Design team is preferable
Travel requirements:
Min 30 % travelling is required across geography & regions as per Project needs
Work schedule:
Within Country Relocation support available and for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
