Federal Team Network Engineer III

CPA Associates International Inc is a leading enterprise software company that focuses on creating strong connections for organizations and government agencies. They are seeking a Federal Team Network Engineer III to lead the design, security, and optimization of their corporate network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and security for a remote workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage our Palo Alto (NGFW) environment
• Manage Panorama, Threat Prevention profiles, and complex VPN tunnels
• Use Junos OS to master BGP, dynamic routing, and traffic optimization
• Administer our Dell switching fabric, ensuring rock-solid VLAN management, LACP, and STP across the core and access layers
• Lead hardware migrations, capacity planning, and firmware lifecycle management
• Utilize enterprise-grade monitoring tools to stay ahead of the curve, acting as the final escalation point for the most challenging network puzzles

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of 'in the trenches' experience in medium-to-large enterprise or cloud environments
• Deep familiarity with Palo Alto and security policy orchestration
• High proficiency in Junos OS CLI and routing protocol troubleshooting
• Proven track record managing enterprise-grade Dell switches
• A 'source code' level understanding of the OSI/TCP-IP models, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, and DHCP
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this role
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Certifications: PCNSE, JNCIS-ENT, or CCNP
