FinQuery is a leader in accounting automation specializing in contract-driven accounting. As a Sales Development Representative, you will engage prospects through cold outreach, educate the market about FinQuery's solutions, and generate opportunities to support the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Engage prospects through cold outreach to communicate how FinQuery can solve lease accounting challenges
- Cold-calling prospects and educating the market about the power of FinQuery and generating opportunities with net-new customers
- Support and enable sales Account Executives (AEs) to close revenue-generating deals
- Research prospects, discover pain points, and set meetings with decision-makers
- Leverage past cold calling and/or lead generation experience to communicate with potential clients via phone, emails, and LinkedIn
- Follow an established and successful sales process combined with weekly coaching and armed with the latest technology
- Set quality meetings and play an integral role in building the sales pipeline
- Participate in a mix of virtual classroom-style learning as well as role-plays and practice in the SDR training program
- Generate sales-qualified leads, prospect via cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and establish the value of our solutions
- Build rapport and find prospects’ needs once engaged
- Receive 40% of leads from marketing programs and be responsible for generating own prospects
- Measure success on proven key performance indicators including daily activity metrics and monthly quota attainment
- Demonstrate mastery of skills for promotion opportunities within the SDR organization
Requirements:
- 6+ months of relevant sales experience required; internship experience will be considered
- Previous cold calling experience required

- Desire to move up the ranks and become an Account Executive or Channel Partner Manager in the future required

- Success working remotely and a strong home setup
- Knowledge of our sales tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Zoominfo is a plus
- SaaS and/or FinTech experience definitely gives you a leg up!
