Field Engineer

Clean Power Staffing is focused on providing skilled labor for the renewable energy sector, and they are seeking a Field Engineer with utility scale solar experience. The role involves managing project documentation, tracking installation progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain detailed daily reports documenting site progress, manpower, equipment usage, weather conditions, and construction activities
• Manage and organize project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, as-builts, and inspection reports
• Track and document installation progress for major components such as modules, trackers, inverters, foundations, and electrical systems
• Coordinate closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and quality teams to ensure accurate documentation of field activities
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of turnover documentation and project closeout packages
• Maintain photo documentation of construction progress and installation milestones
• Track non-conformance reports (NCRs), punch list items, and corrective actions
• Assist with QA/QC documentation and ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering drawings
• Support field verification of construction against design documents and report discrepancies
• Track material deliveries and maintain receiving documentation
• Assist with document control and ensure project files are properly organized and maintained
• Support commissioning and testing documentation as required
• Ensure all documentation meets company standards and client requirements

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE UTILITY SCALE SOLAR EXPERIENCE
• MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN US
• MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL FOR PROJECT
