Clean Power Staffing is focused on providing skilled labor for the renewable energy sector, and they are seeking a Field Engineer with utility scale solar experience. The role involves managing project documentation, tracking installation progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed daily reports documenting site progress, manpower, equipment usage, weather conditions, and construction activities
- Manage and organize project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, as-builts, and inspection reports
- Track and document installation progress for major components such as modules, trackers, inverters, foundations, and electrical systems
- Coordinate closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and quality teams to ensure accurate documentation of field activities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of turnover documentation and project closeout packages
- Maintain photo documentation of construction progress and installation milestones
- Track non-conformance reports (NCRs), punch list items, and corrective actions
- Assist with QA/QC documentation and ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering drawings
- Support field verification of construction against design documents and report discrepancies
- Track material deliveries and maintain receiving documentation
- Assist with document control and ensure project files are properly organized and maintained
- Support commissioning and testing documentation as required
- Ensure all documentation meets company standards and client requirements
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE UTILITY SCALE SOLAR EXPERIENCE
- MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN US
- MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL FOR PROJECT
