About this role
Provato Staffing is seeking a skilled Go (Golang) Developer to join their team. This role focuses on building and maintaining backend services, developing system integrations, and working closely with databases using Transact-SQL in Microsoft SQL Server.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang)
- Write, optimize, and debug complex queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions using Transact-SQL in Microsoft SQL Server
- Build and support integrations between systems using Go and SQL-based data services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions
- Guide and mentor team members, helping drive best practices and technical direction
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance and reliability
- Adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities in a dynamic development environment
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience developing applications using Go (Golang)
- 3+ years of experience writing and debugging Transact-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions in Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience integrating systems and building data connections using Go and SQL databases
- Experience leading or guiding a team and supporting collaborative development efforts
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment
- Java development
- Artificial Intelligence / AI-related technologies
- UI or front-end development experience
