Bridge Appliances, Inc. is dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized restaurants through innovative robotic appliances. The Business Development Representative will focus on uncovering new accounts and generating qualified revenue opportunities through outbound prospecting and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and prioritize high-value target accounts
- Build and execute strategic prospecting plans within defined verticals and regions
- Conduct high-volume outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, industry networking)
- Identify and penetrate key decision-makers
- Secure first meetings and qualified discovery calls
- Conduct structured discovery to uncover equipment needs, expansion plans, operational pain points, and capital budgets
- Identify competitive incumbent equipment and displacement opportunities
- Map buying processes, approval structures, and budget timelines
- Position high-level solutions in collaboration with internal teams
- Create and document qualified sales opportunities for transition to the Account Executive
- Ensure opportunities meet defined qualification criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline)
- Prepare detailed opportunity briefs including stakeholder map, operational requirements, competitive landscape, estimated opportunity size, and decision timeline
- Partner with the Account Executive on initial transition calls to maintain momentum
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a business development, outbound sales, or new account acquisition role
- Proven hunting experience required, with demonstrated success opening new accounts through cold outreach and proactive prospecting
- Demonstrated ability to generate and qualify pipeline independently
- Strong discovery, objection-handling, and negotiation skills
- Self-directed and comfortable working in a small, high-accountability environment
- Experience selling capital equipment, manufacturing products, or technical solutions preferred
- BS degree preferred
- Experience within the Food Service industry preferred
