The HR Specialist will support day-to-day human resources functions including recruiting, compensation, training and development, employee relations, and HR compliance while contributing to the company’s continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support leadership in reviewing and optimizing the organization structure to ensure roles, reporting lines, and responsibilities are aligned with business needs
- Assist in evaluating workforce allocation and headcount planning to ensure the structure remains efficient and scalable
- Provide data and HR insights to help validate whether current organizational design supports company growth and operational goals
- Support full-cycle recruitment across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and corporate roles
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and workforce planning needs
- Help standardize interview processes and improve candidate experience
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth employee integration
- Support the development and administration of compensation structures aligned with market benchmarks and company strategy
- Conduct salary benchmarking and assist in maintaining internal equity
- Oversee benefits administration including health insurance, retirement plans, and vendor coordination
- Collaborate with finance to support accurate payroll processing
- Support onboarding programs and required compliance training initiatives
- Assist in performance management processes including goal setting and annual reviews
- Help identify organizational skill gaps and coordinate development programs
- Support leadership development and succession planning efforts
- Support employee engagement activities, company events, and team celebrations to strengthen workplace culture
- Promote employee recognition initiatives and encourage cross-team collaboration
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain and update employee handbook, policies, and internal procedures
- Handle sensitive workplace matters with professionalism and discretion
