Sycomp is a global IT services and logistics provider with expertise in cloud, data center, and security solutions. They are seeking a Project Manager responsible for leading workplace and facility build-out initiatives, ensuring compliance with business needs and managing project delivery from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Establish project objectives, timelines, and execution plans, including space feasibility assessments and sequencing of key milestones
- Own overall delivery from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with business requirements
- Create and manage project budgets, monitor spend, and proactively address cost risks
- Review vendor billing, assess scope changes, and manage financial controls throughout the project lifecycle
- Source, onboard, and oversee third-party partners such as architects, contractors, IT providers, and furniture vendors
- Serve as the primary point of coordination to ensure timelines, scope, and quality standards are met
- Translate workplace vision and functional needs into actionable design outcomes
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety standards, accessibility requirements, and internal policies
- Provide hands-on oversight during construction and build-out phases, resolving issues as they arise
- Conduct regular site reviews to ensure work progresses according to plan and quality expectations
- Lead relocation activities, including IT transitions and operational readiness
- Manage final inspections, punch lists, and handover documentation prior to occupancy
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience delivering commercial real estate, office build‑outs, or tenant improvement projects
- Strong working knowledge of construction processes, vendor coordination, and workplace infrastructure
- Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Smartsheet, Bluebeam)
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
- PMP, LEED, or similar professional certifications preferred
